CC01 Battery Clip

Battery clip for the Tamiya CC01 chassis. Has an extended lobe to hold power cables and balance lead on modern LiPo batteries out of the way so it doesn't deform lexan bodies. Pictured fitted under a Toyota Land Cruiser. Not tried under any other Tamiya bodies at present.

Results aren't perfect due to inherent slop in the fitting location - the clip wants to twist away from the battery and I don't see a way around this without making a second part that clips over the top to hold it in place, which is probably overkill.

Note: this is designed to work with Core RC LiPo packs which have the same dimensions as NiMH stick packs. For other LiPos you may need to sculpt 1-2mm off the back of the clip.

Printed on an Elegoo Mars printer using stock settings. Best results were with an approximate 45 degree angle from vertical and very slight twist on a horizontal axis.
