CCM5D PWM Motor Controller Case

Bench top CCM5D PWM Motor controller case. I wanted a design to stand up straight and not have hanging wires. This fits the bill. Power button is located on the back to save space up front. When you attach power to the CCM5D, the unit will turn on by itself anyway. If you want to turn it off, the button is there.

The mounting pin on the pot that came with the CCM5D is a bit longer than the other pots I have and the mounting hole currently leaves only 1.5mm thickness between it and the outside of the case. Either add a washer or two around the pot shaft on the inside of the case, or use a dremel and ground off a MM or so off the pot mounting pin. I ground the pin down myself to not lose length on the shaft. When you are done, the pot should sit straight.

I used 14ga wire to wire it up, but the screw down connectors on the CCM5D couldn't take the full width, so I had to trim them down a bit. Supposedly the CCM5D can push 8a, so choose your wire size accordingly.
