this is a 3D printable version of the CDC traps commonly used for entomology, trapping mosquitos, a UVA LED bulb goes into the top socket, and a motor with fan goes into the bottom, with a net secured under the trap(zip tie), if you know you know.
this is intended to be compatible with the common and inexpensive Mabuchi RF-500TB-12560, 3-12v motors and 3.25" fan blade(~3.5"ID) usually used with these types of traps, typically operated at 6 volts, a 470 ohm resistor in series should be adequate for any UVA LED operated at 6v. I have not printed this yet to verify my measurements are good, so if you do before i do, let me know of any corrections that should be made.
