Cedric the Castle Guard

Cedric's eagle eyes and owlish ears are why King Edward keeps Cedric as his first line of defense. Cedric's short temper, however, has gotten him into a few scrapes as a castle guard. Once he almost caused a visiting feudal lord to declare war on Glastonbury Castle because Cedric would not allow his 14 horses to cross the drawbridge. Luckily, Cedric's short fuse seems to be growing longer with age.
