Ceiling Fan Speed Control Knob

Do you get confused by fan speeds - is 1 the fastest (like first in a race) or is 3 fastest (like 3rd gear)? I got annoyed enough to just remake the fan knob, so here it is. Then I realised that not all fans have the marking in the same spot, it depends how your switch it popped in, so the reading might be the bottom of the knob, or it might be the top of the knob. Not all knobs increment in the same direction either, some increase clockwise, some increase anticlockwise, so there are 4 variants to cover each of these options: Top Clockwise Top Anticlockwise Bottom Clockwise and Bottom AnticlockwiseFour variants should be enough right? But what if your fan switch has the flat spot in a different orientation, is it at the Zero, opposite the zer, or one of the other two positions? So there are 4 versions of each variant with the flat side of the shaft facing the centre of the printer bed. This will also mean you could swap a Bottom Clockwise dial to a Top Clockwise dial with the flat side
