ALRIGHT NOW.. (caps off) Alright, now that is out of the way.
In preparation for what many are calling "the Great American Eclipse" on August, 21, 2017. I decided I would design a more elegant way of securing a solar filter to the front of my scope. It is a simple design that sandwiches a sheet of solar film between two rings and then the assembly is friction fit to the front of the scope.
ADDITIONAL WARNING! Do NOT attempt to point your scope to the sun without the proper filter on the FRONT lens of the scope this may damage the scope or worse your EYES.
