This is a cellphone stand with a built in amplifier. When you place the cellphone in the stand it will amplify the sound of the music, particularly the bass. There is a channel cut into the bottom of where the cellphone sits that pushes its speakers towards three cones that point out the front. Usince physics, this amplifies the sound of the music coming from the speaker using vibration and air. It is not the same as having a JBL, but is a nice addition to a basic cellphone stand!
