I remixed a chessboard/box that i found here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:41792
It was listed as a work in progress, had a few open gaps, and the Celtic symbol stood too far out to balance pieces, so i reduced the height of the Celtic symbol block to something a bit more suited for my chess pieces. I also made a negative/gap so that there are two sides to the box that slide into one another, it may be a tight fit. The total slide over gap is 7mm, should be enough to keep the box closed. Total board length is 182mm, equating to just over 20mm (22,75mm to be exact) per chess block. Total height per side (if used as board) is 25mm, if used as box it should be round 43mm in total height.
As for printing - i am printing with ABS with both sides upside down - will use less plastic (as upright one will require supports that will waste a lot of extra plastic). I do recommend printing in dual colors (if you have a dual extruder, which i dont). This piece is NOT dual extruder re
