I wanted an accurate way to see how far from the center of the bed I was printing. So I made a target to print and then mark the bed to see how far off I was.

To use:

Optional. Place a piece of painters tape on the bed to keep the bed clean of pen marks.

1. Place the targets model on the beds center in your slicing program.

2. Slice and print the model.

3. After the print is done mark the bed. (I used a standard sharpie.)

4. Remove print and measure the X distance and Y distance from the center of your bed. Note these values.

5. In your slicing program input those values in your offset bed options. (I use Simplify3D see attached photo)

6. Recenter the target in your slicing program.

7. Reprint target. It should now print in the very center of your print bed.

8. Feel satisfied about your newly centered print bed.
