cFit Container Connection Solution

The cFit Connection System is a simple but effective design solution to connect shipping containers. The system contains 4 parts and 1 accessory: -Bottom corner fitting -Top corner fitting -Locking mechanism -Spring -Manual key lock for increased security (optional accessory) The system works by translating the vertical force of the container's weight into a horizontal driver for the locking mechanism. A key can be manually inserted when two containers are locked together to further secure them, if necessary. This was a very interesting challenge and I worked hard to find an innovative solution that got away from the common twist-lock (rotational) method.
