One of my coworkers brought in a few lengths of bright yellow plastic chain that he wanted to use to cordon off a section of shelves with. At first, he wanted to cut out a little piece of one link and then glue it into the gap at an angle to make a hook out of it. I offered to print something a little bit slicker in appearance, and this is the result.
The smaller, or economy, version is the first one made before widening the hook and giving it a second screw hole for stability.
The halves are held together with #4-40 screws but M3 will work as well. A wood screw could also work if you didn't need to disassemble it later.
