It's a prototype toolhead featuring detachable "Filament Pod" for material swapping.
One of those ideas that I just have to... build and see if it works =)
The pod shell contain most of parts from [BMG gearset](https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805442986544.html) and needs a lot of work shaving shaft to hex. I made this [hex jig tool](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6824960) for this.
Heatsink
Aluminum plate tappd with M7 for [bimetal throat](https://a.co/d/3CnxbGt), attached at the bottom serving as heat shield. The effector has much bigger surface area to dissipate heat, this barely heats up without fan when block is cooking at 250c.
Usage
Still figuring out Klipper and changer.cfg are just button macros for test bracket. It needs more tweaking as there are limited spot you can mount the bracket without the arm hitting it, and other issues like skipping belts.
Printing
PLA is no good for this, they easily break. Printed without support.
