Chemex Filter Guides

I recently discovered Chemex brewers/filters. I enjoy the coffee it produces. I found myself frustrated with the 3 cup filters, as they would never stay in the brewer properly while I was getting other things ready. I created this little doohickie so after I fold my filter, I pop that in and it holds everything just so until I'm ready. Also handy when you pour out the filter rinse water to keep your filter in place. A slight twist when removing the filter guide makes things easy. A friend also uses it to keep his brewed coffee just a bit warmer while finishing the first cup. (I prefer making one cup at a time)

I had also noticed that the point of the filter wouldn't open up well, this thing helps that too...
