The molecules itself are calculated with proper quantum mechanic. Who is interested in more details you can find it here. I rigorously tested the supports so the whole piece is printable in one go. If you still happen to break something during support removal, you can usually fix it by just glueing the brokem piece back. Since it is decor piece, I recommend running proper ironing calibration. You can get pretty amazing result if done properly. I modelled also some organic chemistry themed minute and hour hands, but it will work with the stock as well. I have included a video showing how to assemble the mechanism on a test piece. I used Bambu PLA for this project. If the fit is too tight for your specific filament, I recommend sanding the lock down. You can hang it on the wall by either string, or by screw/nail. Happy printing!
