Chess Table

I built this chess table in 10th grade shop class (remember those?) in 1965 and it was the start of a life-long wood working hobby. The wood is African Mahogany and Limba. Unfortunately it was destroyed in an overseas move. I probably used half the class' wood resources but the teacher was OK with that because it wasn't just another book holder. Dimensions 24" x 24" x 34".
