Chevy Volt Drive Mode Button Extension

A common issue with the Chevy Volt "Drive Mode" button is that it becomes unresponsive when pressed. As the switch ages, it requires more travel to press it. The common fix is to put a layer of electrical tape between the button and the switch underneath. I decided to fix mine with a 3D printed extension.

If you search youtube for "Chevy Volt Drive Mode button" you can find videos on how to remove the button. It's easy. They show how to use electrical tape. Just print this part and use it instead. I made this for my 2013 Volt and it works great.
