I experimented with my original attempt at a chibi dalek for one that has longer parts. Instead of using the rings as shelfs to work as support, I just built in thin layers that act as support. SO it still prints perfectly with no supports. However given that this dalek now has a thin claw jutting out, it has a larger potential to be snapped during play. We'll see how it goes with my son. I like this one better, but my wife thinks the original is cuter. What do you think?
