Chimera+ Aqua

I'm currently building a HEVO. I don't want the part cooling fan that's inherited by the HEVO design. So i'm making my own Chimera mount with a three radial fan design, while staying within the original dimensions of the extruder mount. Of course this needs some creative fan shroud design. Having a model of the Chimera+ helps alot.

While i designed my previous parts using Sketchup Make 2017. The Design of fan shrouds exceeds the limits of Sketchup by far. Designing in metric dimension seems to collide with internal imperial calculations (my guess). I got to many facets and surfaces vanish during saving or edges getting longer or shorter as Sketchup seemed to fit. Wasting countless of hours trying to repair my design, i decided its time to move to a different tool. After trying Freecad (more wasted hours), i stopped at DesignSpark Mechanical. It seems inferior at first compared to other tools, but so far i could design everything i wanted.
