Chimerrax turret

My take on a Chimerrax turret. As I cannot for the live of me imagine how to fit 4 autocannons with a sensible system to feed ammunition and get rid of empty shells, I used 4 Multilasers instead. But it shouldn't be hard to put some autocannons there if you prefer it.


Regarding the holes in the weapon mounting: My intention was, that one can fit some 5mmx2 mm magnets in the bigger holes, so that the weapon can swivel up and down. If one so desires one could also fix some 2 mm x 1mm magnets in the smaller holes which are positioned in a way that the weapon will be stabilized either be leveled or raised to 70°.
But maybe push fit will be enough to keep it raised or leveled, I don't know.

Update 04.09.2023:
After finally trying this thing out, I edited the left and right multilaser parts slightly to make the adapter to the turret a bit smaller in diameter and the connector between both fit better. After trying it out you don't really need the holes I intended for
