Chocolate molds

This project was inspired by Thingiverse 661482 and also the Book, MakerBot in the Classroom: An Introduction to 3D Printing and Design.

We learned a lot about how chocolate flowed (or did not flow) into a mold. Chocolate likes rounded spaces.

I think we should have left the rafts on the objects when we placed in the silicone. The raft might have provided a much smoother opening to the mold. As we did it, the mold opening had to be carved with an exacto knife to remove andy overhang that would prevent chocolate from being removed.
