Christmas Light Clips

I bought a large pack of ‘perfect’ Christmas light clips about 15 years ago. Last year, they all started to crack as I put up the lights due to lengthy UV exposure over the 15 years worth of winter months. I searched everywhere in brick and mortar stores and online for a 1:1 replacement for these clips, but could not find anything even remotely similar in utility and simplicity. So, I made a custom replacement with a similar geometry in AutoDesk and printed my own. These fit my 5-inch gutters very well, and the ‘pointy’ part of the clip can be oriented to slide underneath the edge of shingles. Can be rescaled for larger gutter sizes as needed. I recommend printing in PETG for higher UV resistance, but like everything, they will probably degrade over time. If so, I'll just print more!
