I've designed and printed this Christmas Star for my grandma that make a crib for Christmas every year.
The model is in two pieces, one for the star and another for the tail. I suggest to print the star with an adaptive layer height and to use ironing for the tail. You can mount the pieces just by pressure but I suggest a bit of glue.
In the bottom of the star ther's space for a led and a resistance, you can use a tool like this http://led.linear1.org/1led.wiz to choose the right resistence for your led. I suggest you to use some winding wire to connect the star to your power source to make the connection really discrete and almost invisible. If you want to use disposable batteries, please don't. Try to use rechargeable batteries instead.
