The previous Christmas a family member decided to have their own tree, but unfortunately we only had one tree holder at our disposal. So, having a 3D Printer, I decided to design and print one instead of buying it. I wanted to test it first before publishing to know if it can hold up as well as store bought holders can, and since you are reading this post you probably can guess the outcome. It held up a 2 meter tall tree without any problems.PrintingI recommend printing the parts with higher infill density and wall counts. I've used 4 walls with dense gyroid infill. I recommend printing it in PETG, as it is more flexible than PLA thus more resistant to snapping.AssemblyYou'll have to print the base of the stand and 3 legs to go with it. For hardware, you'll need M8 nuts and bolts, either 3 or 6 pieces each, depending on how firmly you want to secure the tree. I've tested with only 3 bolts and it was just as stable.
