I used to have a 7.5 Christmas tree up for my kids. Now that my kids are young adults, I have 2 fur babies. They use to climb my tree, bite cords, branches, ornaments, you name it they got it. Then hide in the tree. So last year we needed a new tree. I said kids aren't in the Santa age anymore so we will go to a smaller tree. I place my tree on top of my electric fireplace/cabinet (it's hardly on), but they can push it and knock it down. I don't care if it falls however, I don't want it to land on them or hit my window. Hole inside the piece is .90 in (22.86mm)So, I made holders. When they slide/hold on the edges there's a hole to hold the base of the tree bottom. It's harder to pop out of the holes and knock over but it does slightly slide (on my cabinet anyway). It does make it harder to knock over although if they jump into it or a dog jumps at it. it may pop out but harder than falling over for sure. I may or may not be the only one with this problem at Chri
