These are designed to replace the cheap undersized wooden bases that come on the Christmas Village style trees you can get a Dollar Tree. There is a file for the smaller tree with the longer trunk and one for the larger tree with shorter trunk.

Along with the base these replace the wire only trunk with a more modeled version of a trunk.
