made this for a friend after their originals kept breaking and there were no good replacements available. Hopefully others can find it useful too.
Designed and toleranced for a 0.6 mm nozzle. \slot together Easy assembly
[If printing with a 0.4 mm nozzle, scale the model down to 98%]
Recommended print settings:
-2 walls
-20% infill
-0.3 mm layer height
Estimated print time is around 4–5 hours with a 0.6 mm nozzle.
Print instructions:
-Print the legs sideways
-Print the centre piece upright
-Designed to print without supports
Additional details:
-Legs are 210 mm long and should fit most printers
-Centre section is 70 mm tall and designed for a 23 mm diameter fit
-STEP files are included
-DXF file Laser ready [3mm plywood/mdf]
I also made an alternative version with laser-cut legs for faster production and easier replacement.
The legs curve inward to maximise stability, and the contact points sit 1 mm off-centre for better support.
