Chromatic Harmonica

The famous "Chromatic Harmonica", made by company "Hohner (Germany)", remodeled as accurate as possible and right down to the smallest detail. All of the dimensions have been taken from the ORIGINAL with great effort and every component/ part/ sub assemly of the main assembly is existent. The difference to the ORIGINAL are the engravings only, in comparision to the embossed lettering on the both metal covers. Unfortunately I'm not able to model a realistic lettering according to the ORIGINAL. But that doesn't matter; may be an individually laser engraving with additional personal data and/ or special dedication are not uninteresting for those, who playing this instrument artistically. My renderings show some proposals/ combinations for an exceptional appearance. Some technical hints for my model: All of the threads are not visually modeled. Instead of that I used cosmetic threads. All of the metal reeds are modeled with a constant thickness and an equal width. Glue dots for fastening the reed covering foils are not modeled. The model is available in the following data formats: STEP-file of the full assembly. Native files of the full assembly in a "zipped folder" for users of »Creo Parametric 2.0« ("GrabCAD" is a good place too, for private data backups of 3D-models).
