Best printed in the shown orientations. The no supports one is just that - no supports. If you print the unsupported one make sure you have them on buildplate only mode. The supports ruin the small details on the side.
Pictured ring was printed at 0.12mm layer height, primed, and painted silver. Gem was primed and painted blue. Both sprayed with clear gloss to protect color and make them shiny.
