I started building the quad mainly for use indoors.
I had the frames CNC cut out in carbon fiber by CNC Madness https://cncmadness.com but also 3d printed the frame parts and that worked out well too.
The duct is modified with larger 2mm nut holders so they don't fall out during assembly
The Caddx Vista placeholder height of 5 mm is based on the SpeedyBee stack and Caddx Vista joint height in this build (30mm) If you are using a different stack or VTX you probably need to adjust the height to make sure it fits just tight under the top frame.
The foam tape has not been applied all around the ducts in order to leave enough space in between them to use the USB C connection of the flight controller.
As a result of the ducts there was not enough cooling of the Caddx Vista by the props so in order to prevent overheating of the unit I have added a 25mm cooling fan which is powered by the flightcontroller.
Components used:
SpeedyBee F405 mini 35A 20 x 20.
Caddx Nebula
