Citroen Xsara 2 (Alternative Trunk Release Button Solution)

The trunk release button of my Citroën Xsara 2 (2001-2005) malfunctioned. Although I had previously repaired it, it became irreparable, so I searched for an alternative solution. As a result, I obtained a trunk release button from the Lada VEGA model and prepared the necessary parts to install it in the original location of my vehicle.
As you can see in the pictures, I 3D printed the parts and have been actively using them. I soldered wires to the button contacts and stripped the wires of the original socket to make the connection. I recommend printing the rigid parts with PETG or ABS and the outer cover with TPU. The infill should be set to 100%.
