Civic-Minded Five

SPOON!

The Five are a team of superheroes located in The City, who fight crime on the principal of civic duty. They have had a number of run-ins with Tick and Arthur, the first being a battle with living plants in the The City Park. They later aided Tick and Arthur in the arrest of the person responsible for the plants' newly-gained sentience: El Seed. At some later date, they encountered each other during Proto-Clown's rampage through The City, and all helped American Maid keep Bud Frontier, the clown's creator, safe, and try to resolve the situation. (A solution came in the form of Tick falling back to Earth and landing on Proto-Clown.) They also attended a Christmas party at Arthur's apartment, and later on tried to stop a superpowered (and super-angry) Arthur.
