round clamp for barbell [notes] 2024.12 This design is incomplete - requires adjustment for barbell diameter. It was originally designed for diameter of spray paint cans. Mechanical engineering background is recommended to update this model to make a "version1" template for users to begin from. In the photo you see the oldest version - that file was lost and I built the new version with some improvement of strength but there is interference in one link, to be resolved. Fasteners: M5 diameter on original design. Increased (I think to 1/4inch tubing, snug fit) for the posted CAD model. Assembly: there are only two main parts. The "clamp" bar has two configurations in solidworks. Some solidworks expertise is encouraged if you work with the assembly. Learn more by searching openGym
