Clamp with Ball Socket Joint

Remixed the original Webcam mount by Teaching Tech to add an adjustable "C" clamp. I also added a larger base plate to the generic plate to allow attachment with wood screws to a piece of wood.

The piece labeled "Bolt" will tightly thread through the large hole of the C clamp. Then the piece labeled "Bolt head" screws on to that from inside the clamp to give more surface for clamping to your piece.

C clamp and Socket Mount have registration marks so that they can be printed separately, and glued together. Otherwise you have to use a lot of support and lose some strength brought by having them printed in proper orientations.


***Update Jan 24 - Adjusted all the threaded pieces to thread style. Be warned when you print the bolt you will want to scale it down in your slicer by around 1-2% to add 3d print tolerance to the item. Also I have updated the registration marks to fit better, but due to clearances when printing it may be necessary to cut them off the Ball Socket all to
