If you need a stitching pony for leatherwork but already have a bench vice, this is a simpler alternative that takes advantage of your vice!
Just place your workpiece inside the plastic clamp, then place the clamp inside your bench vice and gently tighten.
## Hardware Required
- 4” 3/8” Carriage Bolt - Make sure the head diameter is not larger than 22mm
- Matching nylon nut
- Thin leather padding for jaws (Optional)
- 12x2mm round magnets (Optional)
## Assembly
1. Slide the two printed pieces together
2. Insert the bolt from the side with the square hold
3. Tighten the nylon nut on just enough to provide a small amount of friction in the hinge
4. Glue leather to the jaws for a softer surface
5. Glue magnets into the holes on the side to hold your needles
