Clear Coat Feature – Test Piece & TipsThis is a test piece for the Clear Coat feature I’ve developed. It’s especially useful for logos, text, and makercoins. While similar techniques exist, I haven’t seen anyone approach it quite this way — so I’ll go ahead and claim some originality. :)The included .3mf file contains all relevant settings and can serve as a solid base for tuning with your own filament. There are four parts in the file, clearly named. I recommend printing all of them to compare results and understand how different configurations behave.Helpful Tips:Do not use Arachne.Limit the clear coat to a maximum of 2 layers – any more and it starts to look cloudy.Logos and text should be filled using Concentric fill, at least on the top layers. I personally use it throughout to avoid smudging effects. The transparent filament I use performs best with a reduced flow (0.92) — adjust based on what you're using for optimal surface feel.
