Climbing cam trigger bar replacement

Have you broken the trigger bar on your cam? Use this to replace it and get back out climbing! Prints in two parts that then slide together. I recommend printing in the direction the files automatically are for strength, but this does end up requiring quite a bit of work to remove the supports. I tested PETG with a 0.2 mm nozzle and 0.06 mm layer height. It fits together well after support is removed, but it snapped surprisingly fast. I have previously printed in PLA with 0.4 mm nozzle and an unknown layer height and it worked well for years, so I am not testing if recreating that version works better. You may need to use some glue to get it to stay together if the fit is loose. This file was originally uploaded to thingiverse in 2021, but I am now reuploading it here. The cam trigger bar is not a load bearing part of the cam and historically big wall climbers have even resorted to using dental floss to replace broken trigger wires in a pinch. That being said, use at your own risk.
