| CATIA V5 | Plastic Domain Design (Closed Volume with Master Section) This Closed volume was designed in CATIA V5 following the Automotive Plastic Domain workflow with Master Section reference. The development started from the given Class-A surface, which was validated for surface quality and continuity. Based on the Master Section, a tooling axis was defined to establish the mold direction. Using this reference, Class-B and Class-C surfaces were created to achieve uniform wall thickness and smooth connectivity. These surfaces were then joined to form a closed volume, ensuring the part is tooling-feasible. A detailed draft analysis was performed, and a parting line was created as per the tooling axis to validate manufacturability. This project demonstrates my expertise in surface modeling, solid creation with master section reference, and plastic product design standards, ensuring the component is ready for manufacturing. 🔹 Design Considerations Followed Master Section for wall thickness, rib positioning, and engineering clearances. Maintained uniform thickness for plastic flow. Applied correct draft angles for injection molding feasibility. Created closed volume to validate solid conversion.
