This is a bracket for a fairly standard-ish 1.3" (33mm) closet rod for hanging clothes on. It was designed for a particular installation in an attic apartment with a steeply sloped ceiling/wall, using three 3M "Command" Large Refill Strips (part number 17023P-ES). Hopefully others can use it too. Each bracket with three strips together should hold about 15lb (6.8kg), though the bracket could probably stand quite a bit more than that if you found a more sturdy method of attachment. A pair of these and about a 1.5ft length of closet rod is currently holding up several heavy jackets with no issues.
Closet Rods (at least the ones here in the US) are normally 1 and 5/16 inch (33.3mm) in diameter, so a tiny bit of sanding to taper the ends of the rod is needed to slip them in. This should keep it stable and in the brackets instead of sliding out of one side or the other. If you want additional support brackets in the middle of a rod, a small amount of sanding of the inside diamete
