I designed and printed this closure replacements for my inline skates. It is printed in PLA but can be printed in PETG or ABS. The scaled strap needs some flexibility, so in my case PLA was ideal.
## What do you need
To print yours you will need to print:
1x Adjust
1x Base
1x Tilt
2x Pin
Also, you will need two metal pins:
1x 24mm, 2mm thick
1x 15mm, 2mm thick
For this, I cut it from rivets (4x6)
## How to assemble
The Base has two pins to pass through 2 holes that the skate has, but depending on your case this may vary. Once in place, push in the two pins from the other side. You can add glue (super glue or cyanoacrylate) to make the assemble stronger.
Then you have to assemble the Tilt to the Base using the 15mm metal pin. Once in place, solder the ends with tin.
The final step in similar: assemble the Adjust piece with the Tilt using the 24mm metal pin. And then also solder the ends with tin.
At this point everything is ready, try it and maybe yo
