Clothes Hanger

My wife told me the other day we were 1 hanger short. I'm not sure if it was because she bought something new or one of the cheap plastic hangers we have broke. But she wanted a couple of hangers. Yes, they are cheap. Yes, I could order a bunch on Amazon. But...

3D Printer!

So, I designed a full-size hanger and printed it on my Anycubic Kobra 3 Max. It's a little thicker than the cheap plastic ones, but remarkably sturdy for 15% infill. I printed a test in PLA, and it worked remarkably well. My estimated cost was less than $1.00. I'm sure I could still buy these cheaper, but why have a 3D printer that can print larger items like a hanger and not use it!?!

Plus, I got to practice designing something in FreeCAD.

Anyway, not sure if anyone will ever just need a hanger, but here you go.
