Cloud City was a mining colony dedicated to the extraction of Tibanna gas, used in blaster weapons and as coolant for hyperdrive engines, located in the livable zone of the gas giant Bespin, so called because it was constantly surrounded by gigantic clouds. The city floated 60,000 kilometers above the heart of the gas giant.
