Cloud Painter (or LED Knuckles)

This is a light painting tool created to give a cloud like light effect. While it did not quite create the effect it was intended it did create quite an amazing effect. Using this in long exposures to light paint creates nicely textured light trails like in the example photo.

There are two designs, one uses only one push button and is meant to be used with regular one colored LEDs the other uses three tactile push buttons to be used with RGB LEDs to control each channel of the LEDs individually.

You will need:
* 12 x 5mm LEDs
* 9V battery
* either one button or three tactile push buttons (check photo for type of button)
* some wires

The battery is places inside the grip and the LEDs are wired with proper resistors to be switched on/off by the button. The wiring photos show the model that uses three buttons to control RGB LEDs.
You can increase the brightness by gluing tin foil or anything reflective in the case between the LEDs and the diffuser.
