CNC Dust Shoe (Adjustable Height)

CNC Dust shoe for vacuuming a 500W brushless spindle.

The aluminum rod holder with screw requires an M8 stop nut and an M8 wing nut to hold the tube.

For the guides an aluminum tube with a diameter of 25mm was used which, when fully extended, reaches up to the plate of the CNC.

The hose connection was made for a suction hose of 50mm outer diameter with 6mm pitch and left-hand thread. Behind the thread there is an indentation for a sealing strip 1cm wide and 2mm high.

At the bottom a recess was made for fixing CNC brushes (depth for fixing 2cm).

At the top, an acrylic glass plate was cut and glued in place for better observation of the milling cutter. (Attached the step file)

Centrally above the spindle, a holder for the hose was attached.

The hose connection is glued into the acrylic glass.

There are 2 screws at the top end of the aluminium tubes to prevent them from slipping out.
