CNC Router Machine Arm

This is a machine arm I made for my Avid CNC router. It mounts to either side of the machine, and you can use any size 4080 extrusion you want. I made my arm using a 60" upright, two 24" 'arms' and a 16" brace. You can adjust these to suit your needs! The hinge mechanism consists of the top pivot, and the bottom 'main' piece. Brass oilite bushings and thrust washers support everything and make it swing freely. Here is what hardware is needed:
