Upgrade your desk setup with this next-generation coaster designed for style, utility, and maximum stability. This is a two-part print featuring a rigid, durable PLA base and separate, flexible TPU feet. By printing the feet in TPU, the coaster gains a fantastic non-slip grip on any surface while keeping your drinks completely stable. Design Features No Multi-Material Printer Needed: Designed as separate parts so anyone with a standard 3D printer can print the base in PLA and the feet in TPU, then assemble them! TPU Feet for Grip: The flexible TPU feet press-fit into the base, acting like rubber pads to prevent the coaster from sliding or scratching delicate surfaces. High Stability: Engineered with a solid PLA base and a perfectly balanced footprint to ensure your mugs and glasses never wobble. Print Settings & Recommendations To get the absolute best results with this print, please follow these guidelines: Base Part: Print in PLA (0.2mm layer height, 15-20% infill) Feet Part: Print in Flexible TPU (0.2mm layer height) Supports: None required! Both parts are optimized to print cleanly without any support material. ⚠️ Crucial Printing Tip: Dry your TPU! TPU is highly hygroscopic and absorbs moisture from the air quickly. To avoid stringing and ensure the feet print cleanly and fit perfectly into the base, make sure to dry your TPU filament in a filament dryer or food dehydrator before printing. 🛠️ Assembly Notes The TPU feet are designed to snap directly into the designated slots on the bottom of the PLA base. While it is a snap-fit, if you wiggle them around a lot or accidentally drop the coaster, the feet might pop out. I highly recommend adding a drop of super glue into the slots before pressing the feet in. This will lock them in place permanently so you never have to worry about losing them! Enjoy the print, and please post pictures of your color combinations in the makes section!
