Coat & Key Hook

This coat hook started off as a class project for a digital fabrication course. It was supposed to get me acquainted with 3D printing and the settings. Through the process of designing the coat hook, there were multiple variations and troubleshooting to get to this version of the hook.

There is a second part of the print which is included within the STL, which is the tool for the screws. I have set the tool at the height to mount the hook even against the wall. This will help out with the installation process so you don't have to eyeball where the holes need to be placed.

I've also included some pictures of post-processing I did on the finished piece after sanding it down. I coated the first layer with an adhesive primer followed by black spray paint. After that, I put a coat of bed liner spray paint to give it more of a hard industrial feel to the 3D print.
