Design in progress... Things will be changing...
I'm designing a simple coaxial motor mount for a multirotor, using a couple of dirt cheap 2212 motors and other inexpensive components to make a reliable arm that can be used for a Y-6,X-8, or other configurations.
The carbon fiber arm is 10mm OD, and I'm using a 500mm length.
I am also mounting a strip of ws2812b LEDs on the inside of the motor housing, and using a translucent grey ABS for the light to pass through. Test video: https://youtu.be/JUzf5DrLNR4
In this version, the motor mounts are glued to the body. We'll see how later versions go... Some concerns about wall thickness at center. Stress point that could cause layer separation. LED mountings need to be lined up better as well. Completed build test video: https://youtu.be/70FEkei7B7I
Next test will involve propellers...
I'll continue to update as I print and test. Suggestions are appreciated!
