This coffee / espresso cup riser is designed to raise up smaller cups closer to where the coffee is dispensed to prevent splashing. The top surface has holes in it so that if a spill occurs, the coffee will still drain into the coffee machine drip tray. These holes also reduce the amount of filament used when printing the part
