Coffee puck rake for better distribution of coffee ground in the portafilter, to reduce channeling and more equal extraction. While waiting for my new decent espresso machine to ship I figured I create a puck rake like John describes in his video. Just instead usinga cork, why not using a 3D printer? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxwmsGXbnFs By now you can order the original decent puck rakes online at decent espresso. If you 3D print my version of Johns puck rake you will need 0.2mm needles of total 50mm length (30mm needle, 20mm grip length, 2mm grip diameter). The holes for the needles are designed at 2.1mm so the 2mm grips will fit tight. If too tight, then cura has the option "Hole horizontal expansion" to compensate for 3D printing too tight. ... Now i have my next cappucino. ;-)
