I came across a rather nifty coil spring style pen holder that I decided to re create.
It actually has a little spring to it as well. With how I printed it, it takes about 4lbs to fully compress all the coils and a quick release will shoot it a foot into the air.
Depending on your printer This can be torture because of the overhang angle. I used really heavy supports and was printed at .07mm layer height on my Monoprice Maker Select v2.
